VALERIE HARPER: Cancer Is in Remission

Valerie Harper is beating the odds. The iconic sitcom star, who had been given as little as three months to live when diagnosed with cancer near her brain a year ago, has far outlived her doctors' grim initial prognosis. TV's Rhoda says she's responded well to an experimental medication. She tells Entertainment Tonight, "There are no small miracles."

Not only is Valerie alive, but working. ET caught up with her as she taped her second episode of the upcoming Hallmark Channel series Signed Sealed Delivered.

GWYNETH PALTROW: Denies Cheating Rumors

Gwyneth Paltrow has come out swinging against rumors that she's cheating on hubby Chris Martin.

A message about Gwyn appeared on Whisper — an anonymous secret-sharing app — earlier this week, claiming that she's been having an affair with entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn, according to Gawker's gossip blog Defamer.

Her rep then issued a statement to Defamer calling the Whisper posting "100-percent false" and insisting that "this is clearly a fabricated story with no credibility at all...  I cannot be more clear with you when I say she is NOT having an affair with Kevin Yorn, and I will be notifying her attorneys as well."

PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN: Last Wish Was to Have His Son Stay in New York

One of Philip Seymour Hoffman's last wishes was for his son to be raised a New Yorker.

In his will, the actor wrote, "It is my strong desire...that my son Cooper Hoffman be raised and reside in or near the borough of Manhattan."

Hoffman explained that he wanted his son, who is now 10, to be surrounded by the culture, arts, and architecture of the city. And if New York isn't an option, then he asked that his son be raised in Chicago or San Francisco. And if that didn't work out either, he wanted Cooper to visit these cities at least twice a year for cultural purposes.

Hoffman ended up leaving much of his estate to longtime girlfriend Mimi O'Donnell, who had three children with the actor, including Cooper.

The will was written when Cooper was one and several years before his sisters Tallulah and Willa were born.
