(Washington, DC)  --  Attorney General Eric Holder is informing Congress that four American citizens have been killed in overseas drone strikes since 2009.  In a letter to Senator Pat Leahy, Holder said one American with ties to al-Qaeda was specifically targeted.  Holder wrote that the three others U.S. citizens were killed in similar fashion during "counterterrorism operations" but were "not specifically targeted by the United States."  Leahy, a Vermont Democrat, chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.
