Here's When NYC Takes Down Their Christmas Decorations

It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season forgetting to stop and appreciate your surroundings. Christmastime in New York City is unlike anywhere else. Every street corner is decked out with beautiful decorations, and of course, The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is an iconic staple of the holiday season. We wish the tree could stay up all year long!

Now that the holidays are over, we can all relax a bit and stop worrying that our shopping gets done and our cookies get baked. So NYC, here's your last chance to bask in the Christmas glory.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be only be lit and available to view until 9pm on this coming Monday, January 7th, 2019.  However, the beloved Rockefeller Center ice skating rink is open to skaters until April 13th, 2019 for winter fun throughout the whole season. You can also enjoy ice skating in Bryant Park until March 3, 2019.

We know it's hard to transition back to reality and work after the holidays, so go enjoy the Christmas bliss in Rockefeller Center for one last weekend!
