Last month, I told you about Robin Thicke's plan to name his new cd after his estranged wife, Paula Patton and how a lot of the material on the cd is dedicated to winning her back.

At this point, it isn't clear if Robin's musical efforts have gotten over with Paula, but so far, it hasn't made a great impression on the public. Thicke's latest cd, titled Paula sold 24,000 copies in its first week of release, according to the latest SoundScan figures.  That number makes it the week's ninth-biggest seller.

On the surface, there's nothing wrong with a top 10 debut...except Robin's last effort, Blurred Lines, debuted at number-one last year, selling 177,000 copies in its first week.
