Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel Celebrate 3rd Anniversary of "Waitress"

New year, new podcast name! Inside Broadway, formerly known as In The Wings, starts 2019 off with a bang! Michael Riedel and Christine Nagy sat down with Waitress stars Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel to chat all about the hit Broadway musical and the journey that got them there.

Sara Bareilles grew up around Broadway music and doing musical theater. She wrote all of the music for the production despite not being familiar with the movie it was based off of. When asked about the difference between writing for Broadway vs pop music, she said "I found it was really fun immediately. I loved the challenge of finding my way into the psychology of each character."
