They sit down with Thomas Schumacher, president and producer of Disney Theatrical, to talk about the secrets of their success. Ashley Brown who originated the title role in Mary Poppins on Broadway, Jonathan Freeman, the voice of Jafar in the animated feature Aladdin, and Michael James Scott currently starring as the Genie in Broadway's Aladdin chat about their own Disney stories.
At 18:23, Thomas Schumacher reveals some exciting news that Disney on Broadway is reviving Aida, AND Beauty and the Beast!
"We have 21 shows playing around the world tonight and we are gonna add 5 more (Frozen productions) into that. Then, we are going to bring Beauty back and we're gonna bring back Aida and put them into the world."
