My mother made brownies all the time, usually with walnuts (which I would remove.) When I was a kid, a doctor told me to "go easy" on chocolate, so she made "blonde brownies" (without nuts, btw.) All I could think of was getting those chocolate brownies (without nuts), but that would happen years later. Since Saturday was "Blonde Brownie" Day, I thought I'd give them a second chance.
