Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (“MSG Entertainment”) revealed that the iconic holiday event, The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by QVC, will return to Radio City Music Hall’s Great Stage from November 8, 2024, through January 5, 2025. Tickets for the 2024 season are now available at www.rockettes.com/christmas.

This year, the Rockettes line welcomed 17 new Rockettes from ten states – New Jersey, Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania – and one foreign country – Belgium. All of the new Rockettes came through Rockettes Conservatory, the dance company’s no-fee intensive training program that serves as an inclusive talent pipeline for the dance company.

A beloved holiday tradition in New York City, the dazzling Christmas Spectacular showcases the intricate choreography of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes across nine breathtaking numbers. Exclusive to Radio City Music Hall, the show combines cherished classic routines, like the iconic “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” with cutting-edge technology that brings the performance beyond the stage, including stunning digital projections. One of the show’s highlights is “Dance of the Frost Fairies,” introduced in 2022, where the Rockettes are joined by Frost Fairy drones that soar above the audience, transforming Radio City into a magical winter wonderland. Since its debut at Radio City in 1933, the *Christmas Spectacular* has spread holiday cheer to over 71 million people worldwide.

The Radio City Rockettes, America’s longest-running precision dance company, are celebrated for their exceptional unity, athleticism, and signature style, which blends ballet, jazz, tap, and elements of modern and contemporary dance. Beyond the Christmas Spectacular, the Rockettes perform each year in events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Center tree lighting. They’ve also graced major entertainment platforms such as the Tony Awards, MTV VMAs, NYC Pride Parade, and Saturday Night Live. In a commitment to greater diversity and representation, the Rockettes are working to provide more opportunities for dancers from all backgrounds through initiatives like their no-cost Rockettes Conservatory and partnerships with renowned dance organizations, including The Ailey School, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Harlem School of the Arts, and the International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD).

Radio City Music Hall and the Christmas Spectacular offer a range of accessibility services to ensure more guests can experience the holiday magic. In collaboration with KultureCity, they provide a sensory room and sensory bags—containing KultureCity VIP (KCVIP) badges, fidget tools, noise-canceling headphones, and other helpful resources—at all performances of the Christmas Spectacular. Closed captioning is available on personal devices via VITAC for every show, and additional accessibility options are offered at select performances, including open-captioned, audio-described, and American Sign Language-interpreted shows, along with a sensory-friendly performance in partnership with TDF. For more details on these services, including accessible and companion seating, guests can contact the Accessibility Services Department at 888-609-7599 or accessibilityservices@msg.com.

The 2024 Christmas Spectacular is proudly presented by QVC, a global leader in live shoppable entertainment. This partnership has previously seen the Rockettes performing live from Radio City Music Hall during QVC’s popular “In the Kitchen with David” show and its annual “Non-Stop Holiday Party,” the network’s largest live shopping event. As the presenting sponsor, QVC is prominently featured in the beloved “New York at Christmas” Times Square scene, ensuring high visibility to the nearly one million attendees each year. The collaboration between these two iconic holiday brands is a natural fit—there’s no other experience quite like the immersive magic of the Christmas Spectacular, and no retail platform that combines live video shopping and entertainment quite like QVC.
