Broadway in Bryant Park is Lite FM's favorite summer tradition- free lunchtime entertainment each Thursday at noon inside the gorgeous Bryant Park! You can discover new Broadway shows, sing along to the returning classic you love, and see your favorite Lite FM personalities. We kicked off last week with performances by A Bronx Tale, Avenue Q, Anastasia, and The Imbible!
Christine Nagy got to speak to the performers before the show to ask them about the background of the show, if they're enjoying their time on the Broadway stage, and more fun behind the scenes questions.
Christine got to know the wonderful cast of A Bronx Tale, and asked them about their journey on the Broadway stage, what the show means to them, how closely the Broadway adaptation follows the real story, and more!
The cast of Avenue Q are so funny, talented, and a pleasure to talk to! Christine asks the cast what their favorite song from the play to sing is, if they have any puppeteer experience, how they like working with all of the adorable puppets, and how HBO's Big Little Lies incorporates Avenue Q.
Christine talked to the cast members of The Imbible, who are actually the directors, writers, and producers as well, about how the show provides 3 cocktails for the audience, how the drinks relate to the play's storyline, interaction between the audience and the actors, and much more!
Christine also interview the Broadway In Bryant Park co-hosts, two actors from The Play That Goes Wrong! They give some insight about the play and the characters they portray, and their favorite moments from the show. Rob and Greg's funny back and forth will have you laughing out loud!
See you next week!
