11-year-old Luke Chacko did what many only dream of while singing Broadway tunes in the shower: have Idina Menzel herself ask them for an encore! Luke joined Menzel on stage during her concert in Grand Prairie, Texas and blew the audience away with his impressive rendition of Frozen's "Let It Go". Menzel was so amazed with his performance, she requested an encore! "Could you all just shut up for a minute and let him sing it again?" she said.
Luke left such a lasting impression that he received a standing ovation from the crowed and later, a tweet from Elsa herself!
Luke has some wise words for anyone who defines "Let It Go" as a girls-only song: "I know boys don't like 'Let It Go' because it's a girl's song, but songs are for everyone. It's music, it's art."
This 11-year-old sounds too smart for his own good! Hope to see you on the Broadway stage soon, Luke.
