1. Coney Island

2. Brighton Beach
Coney Island’s neighbor Brighton Beach draws families and friends all summer long. Be sure to explore the surrounding neighborhood “Little Odessa” named for its tight-knit Russian and Eastern European communities.
3. Rockaway Beach
Located in Queens, New York, Rockaway Beach is known for surfing! Grab your board and hang ten at Rockaway. After a long day of surfing, visit the boardwalk to indulge in some of the best tacos around.
4. Orchard Beach
Orchard Beach is the Bronx’s only public beach. This man-made beach was built in the 1930s and was declared “The Riviera of New York.” After your day of swimming and sunbathing, visit City Island famous for its seafood restaurants. Showers and changing areas are available.
5. Long Beach
Long Beach is situated on Long Island and really is a treasure. The beaches are clean and the parking is free! You can get to Long Beach in less than an hour from Penn Station located in Midtown Manhattan by taking the Long Island Railroad. Visit: https://www.longbeachny.gov
