Thursday July 19th, 2018 was our second Broadway in Bryant Park of summer 2018 and the performances continued to dazzle the crowd! We had performances from The Phantom of the Opera, Beautiful On Broadway, Desperate Measures, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Brooke Shapiro, and had a special co-host Renée Taylor. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather!
Check out some highlights from Broadway in Bryant Park on July 19th:
The Phantom of the Opera opened the show with emotional renditions of classics: "All I Ask of You" and "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again."
Second, the spunky cast of Desperate Measures took the stage to perform "Just For You" and other songs from this musical.
Up next to the stage was On A Clear Day You Can See Forever. They sang "Hurry! It's Lovely Up Here" that has lyrics describing perfect weather - kind of like the weather we were having.
Finally, Beautiful The Carole King Musical closed the show with "Beautiful" and "One Fine Day."
Thank you to everyone who performed and came to watch the show! We can't wait to see you next week on July 26th with performances from:
- Aladdin
- Frozen
- The Lion King
