Lite FM Switched To 24/7 Christmas Music: Here's What You Missed

Christmas is officially here! On Friday, November 15th, Lite FM flipped the switch to 24/7 Christmas music. Lite FM broadcasted live from Radio City Music Hall to celebrate the switch with the Radio City Rockettes and Ana Gasteyer. Gasteyer, a Saturday Night Live alum, released a Christmas album, Sugar and Booze. The 15 track album is filled with both classic and original festive seasonal songs that mixes vintage holiday styles with a modern flair.

We also chatted with The Rockettes and they shared their experience about the 2019 Christmas Spectacular. Check out some of our favorite moments from the night:

The Rockettes revealed to Cubby and Christine that "We have an aerialist in the nativity scene which is brand new and we have amazing new Rockette choreography. We have this reveal in the finale number ‘Christmas Lights’ and it is absolutely magical. We are raised 10 feet in the air, a crazy rip curtain it is amazing!”

Cubby and Christine also talked with Ana Gasteyer at the event. Gasteyer discussed her new Christmas album "It's a true a passion project, Sugar and Booze, two of my favorite things and certainly the best things about the holidays. There's a lot of music we wrote, original music, that feels very old fashion vintage." The album also includes Gasteyer's take on classic Christmas songs such as "Let It Snow".

Tune in to Lite FM to hear your favorite Christmas songs playing 24/7!
