The Cast Of 'Come From Away' Talked Kindness At Our Radiothon.

The cast of Broadway's Come From Away stopped by Hassenfeld Children's Hospital for our Hope For The Holidays Radiothon.

The cast sat down with Helen Little and Nina Del Rio to talk about the play.“It is about community coming together. On 9/11 they had to clear the airspace and 38 planes had landed in Gander Newfoundland. And there were 7,000 people coming off that plane to a town of 9,000, so almost doubling the population. And it’s a story of how everybody came together and took care of these people for five days.”

They credit the success of the show to its message of kindness. “Kindness is universal and the need for kindness is universal. And the show is such a wonderful example of just people being kind in the face of horrible things. Things happen everyday, good and bad, but let’s try for the good”

After the interview Come From Away donated $500 to Hassenfeld Children's Hospital during our Hope For The Holidays Radiothon
