Chris Harrison Teases Matt James’ Secret ‘Bachelor’ Set Location: Watch

It’s official: Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette is “bonkers.” Host Chris Harrison shared all the deets and then some during a Zoom interview with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Tuesday, October 13.

“Clare has certainly set in motion things that we have never dealt with before on this show and that’s saying a lot considering I have seen what I have seen in 18 years,” Chris teased ahead of tonight’s premiere. “It is absolutely bonkers. I know there’s lots of rumors and lots of stuff flying around and I think people have this idea of what happens, [but] you don’t.”

Chris added his first emotion once it all unfolded while filming was: “Oh my God, what are we going to do with this?”

The executive producer continued that throughout the years, they’ve honored Bachelor Nation and fans by really playing out what happens and this season, in particular, we’ll truly see it all.

“Honestly, the great thing about our show the last few years if you’ve noticed, if you’re a real fan, is that we’ve really leaned into it, embracing everything: the good, the bad, the ugly,” he added. “Just really made it organic. I think Bachelor Nation and our viewers are so savvy now they really demand that so this season we really have leaned into it. You’re going to see everything, warts and all. I think because of the COVID, pandemic bubble it really helped us capture everything because we weren’t traveling. We weren’t on the road. We were stuck in one place. We had cameras rolling nonstop so you’re really going to see things that normally behind-the-scenes you wouldn’t be privy to.”

And he's back in that quarantine bubble, this time for the first-ever Black Bachelor Matt James’ season.

“I can’t tell you where I am, but I am far from the desert,” he teased of James’ secret Bachelor set location, referring to Clare’s season which was filmed at La Quinta in Palm Desert. “Look, fall colors,” he added, moving his Zoom camera angle. “I will tell you this: There’s seasons here. There’s weather and seasons, it’s very strange.”
