Mariah Carey Says It's Too Early For 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'

The Queen of Christmas says it's too early for her hit song, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

Mariah Carey has taken to Twitter to express her feelings on premature Christmas celebrations. A fan posted a screenshot Thursday showing Carey's hit, "All I Want for Christmas is You" trending upward on Google. The fan captioned the screenshot "it's happening" in which Mariah responded, "not yet." Other users had mixed reactions - some agreeing it's too early while others claiming Christmas joy is needed right now! Due to the current state of the world, is it really too early for Christmas music?

Previous reported, a new study revealed that a high number of Americans started watching holiday movies as early as August this year. Out of 2,000 Americans, 64% of respondents are looking forward to the holidays more this year than they have before. Of those who’ve already watched a Christmas movie, two in five started in October while 37% first indulged in September. One in five began in August or earlier.
