Lineup Revealed For 'We Love NYC' Free Concert In Central Park

New York City's 'We Love NYC' concert in Central Park on August 21 will feature a diverse lineup of performers, celebrating the city getting back on track despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The packed lineup features Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Grammy-award winners and up-and-coming artists, assembled by famed music executive Clive Davis, NYC restauranteur Danny Meyer and Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration.

Slated to perform at the historic concert are Jon Batiste, Andrea Bocelli, Kane Brown, Elvis Costello, Jennifer Hudson, Cynthia Erivo, Polo G, Earth, Wind & Fire, LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, Journey, The Killers, Barry Manilow, the New York Philharmonic, Carlos Santana, Paul Simon, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen and Rob Thomas.

The 'We Love NYC' concert is one several major events in the five boroughs the week of Aug. 14 - 22 to celebrate New York's reopening. The city is planning concerts in each of the five boroughs as well as film screenings and art and cultural activities.

The concert is free to attend, but proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all in attendance. Around 60,000 people are expected.
