The Empire State Building Lights Up NYC To Celebrate Coldplays New Album!

To celebrate the announcement of Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour, the Empire State Building lit up its world-famous tower lights to launch a brand-new Music-to-Light Show in partnership with iHeartRadio to the band’s collaboration with BTS, “My Universe,” from their forthcoming ninth studio album Music Of The Spheres, on Thursday, October 14 at 8:55 p.m.

Produced by Live Nation, Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour begins on March 18, 2022, with the band’s first-ever show in Costa Rica, before traveling to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, USA, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, and the UK.

Coldplay will visit MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 4, 2022. The full list of shows and on-sale dates for the 29-date tour are available at coldplay.com/tour. Support at the majority of shows will come from H.E.R., with London Grammar supporting at selected dates. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 22 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Music-To-Light show, designed and executed by resident lighting artist, Marc Brickman, will be synced to the song played on New York Z100 and the iHeartRadio app, which will also culminate with the iHeartRadio Album Release Party with Coldplay broadcasted across Hot AC, Alt and CHR stations nationwide and streamed on the CW app or on www.cwtv.com.
