Could liquor be coming to your local Wawa? It’s looking that way! Wawa has officially submitted the top bids for liquor licenses in Philadelphia and Delaware County. It’s unclear what the current plans are for the license, and Wawa says they don’t have any specifics available or plans they can share at this time. Only one Wawa currently sells beer in Pennsylvania, and that’s in Chadds Ford, but we’ll go out on a limb and say it won’t be the only one pretty soon.
