Florists in Philadelphia helped cheer up people in the city with some unexpected flower power. With weddings and events being cancelled and postponed because of the coronavirus, florists Katie Robinson and Kerry Fabrizio had lots of blooms they didn’t need, so they decided to share them with the public.
The women headed out to Rittenhouse Square and gave away a thousand flowers to strangers passing by. They also decorated around the park, using a thousand more to create beautiful, colorful displays everyone could enjoy.
“We just want to make people smile,” said Robinson.
