Santa Claus may know if you've been bad or good, but he can't tell who's contagious.
So this year, Kris Kringle will appear at some South Jersey malls behind a plastic barrier.
Saint Nick's lap will be off-limits when he arrives Nov. 6 at malls in Cherry Hill, Moorestown and Vineland, the shopping centers' owner said Friday.
"Santa will be stationed behind a plexiglass protection shield with a bench in front for visitors," the mall owner, Philadelphia-based PREIT, said in a statement.
