Brian Cox On Similarities Between 'The Great Society' & 'Succession' Roles

On this Inside Broadway, Michael Riedel and Christine Nagy talk with actor Brian Cox, who is currently playing Lyndon B. Johnson in Broadway's The Great Society.

He also talks about the success of HBO's Succession and what his character Logan Roy, and Lyndon B. Johnson have in common.

"They both lack real parenting. Lyndon had a weak father who failed so much and Logan lost his mother and his father faded away. I think they had a problem of being taken care of properly in the formative years. Lyndon lived a life that was pretty deprived... Logan had an abusive childhood. They are self made men and that's the thing they have in common."

Later, he reveals what his most significant moment has been in his career. Listen to the full episode of Inside Broadway above. Tickets to see The Great Society can be purchased here.
