Lisa Loeb Reflects On 25 Years Of “Stay"

Lisa Loeb stopped by the Lite FM studio to chat with Cubby and Christine about life since her hit single, “Stay,” debuted in 1994, 25 years ago!

Lisa Loeb and Cubby have known each other for over two decades! Loeb revealed in the interview that Cubby was the first person to play "Stay" on the radio on a radio station in Texas back in the 90s.

Lisa says, "The person who started playing the song on the radio was Paul Cubby Bryant... Then other stations caught on and everybody started playing it because you guys were playing it. It was so cool for me... For you guys to on your own decide 'we like this song we're gonna play it,' that was like real radio. It was so cool to be a part of that."

How legendary is that!? Since "Stay," Lisa Loeb has gone on to write multiple children's album and start the Camp Lisa Foundation to send kids to camp who normally could not afford it. Sometime in the near future, Loeb will also be releasing a new "uplifting" album and we can't wait to hear it!
