One bold 10-year-old girl isn't afraid to ask for the day off from school to observe A Day Without a Woman, occurring tomorrow March 8th. Organizers of the event encourage participants to write a letter to their employers explaining why they are choosing to take the day off. This savvy 10-year-old had no problem doing just that. Her proud mother took to Twitter to post her daughter's letter.
Some school districts in North Carolina and Virginia have already chosen to cancel classes for the day, as several teachers are requesting to take the day off in solidarity. Basically, this girl sounds like the most mature 10-year-old on the planet and we applaud her for her courage to stand up for what she believes in!
