Never Answer Calls From These Area Codes

A new column in Inc. revealed that phone scammers are getting even tricker to avoid than ever. Once unsuspecting people pick up, thieves and scammers cam make money off premium charges, or even use their voice to authorize other bills. Once quick glance at your caller ID could reveal whether the call is real or scam. Certain area codes can tip off potential victims that something is amiss. Criminals used to hide behind '900 numbers' but the public soon caught on. Many present-day schemes feature an '809' area code, which is international caribbean area code. Taking calls from any of these foreign countries can cost $5 a minute or more! 

For your safety, watch out for 473, 809, and 900 numbers. Here is a list of area codes to watch out for!
