Campbell Recalls Over 4,000 Pounds of Chicken Soup

Campbell's Soup has issued a recall for approximately 4,185 pounds of chicken soup due to misbranding of the products! The affected soup contains milk, which is not declared on the labels even though it is a very common allergen. It has been labeled as a Class I recall, meaning "there is a reasonable probability that the use of this product will cause serious, adverse health consequences of death."

They also advise that affected products be thrown away or returned to their place of purchase. The mislabeled batch includes 18.6 oz. cans of "Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta" that contain a best by date of February 13, 2019 and establishment number "EST. 4R" on the bottom of the can.
