Olivia Newton-John took to Facebook to announce that she is postponing her upcoming tour dates after being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life. Newton-John, 68, was having severe back pain that originally was thought to be caused by sciatica issues, but turned out to be breast cancer that had metastasized to the sacrum. The singer's statement remained upbeat and shared her strong hopes to return to her concert schedule later this year after a short cause of radiation therapy.
The singer also plans on undergoing "natural wellness therapies" in additon to the photon radiation. Newton-John was touring her album LIV ON, which included inspirational songs about dealing with personal issues including the loss of her sister Rona to brain cancer in 2013 and her previous breast cancer diagnosis in 1992.
We wish her well!
