The America's Got Talent Act That Simon Cowell Deemed 'Unforgettable'

One of the biggest highlights of America's Got Talent week one was when 12-year-old Darci Farmer debuted her singing ventriloquist act...and got the first golden buzzer of the season! Darci and her singing rabbit puppet Petunia wowed the judges and studio audience with their incredible rendition of George Gershwin's "Summertime" from "Porgy and Bess." Not only did she control the puppet with skill and charm, but the young girl also managed to sing beautifully and clearly through clenched teeth! The performance earned a standing ovation from the audience and all of the judges raved about Darci's performance. Even Simon Cowell, who is known for his harsh critique, rose to his feet clapping and deemed the performance memorable.

"I’m gonna remember you in a week, in a month, in a year. You’re both brilliant and when you’ve got it, you’ve got it,” Cowell said.

The most exciting moment was when Spice Girl Mel B. slapped her Golden Buzzer, sending the stunned girl straight to the live shows. Watch her incredible act below!
