Behind The Scenes At Broadway In Bryant Park

Broadway in Bryant Park is Lite FM's favorite summer tradition- free lunchtime entertainment each Thursday at noon inside the gorgeous Bryant Park! You can discover new Broadway shows, sing along to the returning classic you love, and see your favorite Lite FM personalities. We kicked off last week with performances by STOMP, Groundhog Day, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked! Christine Nagy got to speak to the performers before the show to ask them about the background of the show, if they're enjoying their time on the Broadway stage, and more fun behind the scenes questions!

We also got a surprise appearance from the cast of The Play That Goes Wrong! The performers talk about how they've done over 1,000 performances together, on-set injuries, how one of the actors is a playwright for the show, and more.

Last but not least, Christine got to talk to the cast members from Wicked! The performers talk about the high energy in the Broadway In Bryant Park audience, getting swamped by fans, and their favorite summertime activities in NYC!

Christine Nagy kicked off the seventeenth annual Broadway In Bryant Park event and the crowd was going wild!

See you next Thursday, at 12pm where you can watch performances from Kinky Boots, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, School of Rock, and Soulpepper!

Make sure to get to Broadway In Bryant Park early so you can catch the Aruba pre-show starring...the iconic carnival singer, Lord Cachete and two Aruban dancers in beautiful traditional costumes! You can also visit the Aruba tent to win a free trip to Aruba Carnival!

See you there!
