Join us for the first annual Tri-State Rocks show at The Capitol Theatre! Tri-State Rocks is a benefit vocal competition and performance, perfect for both aspiring artists and audience members interested in an evening of entertainment and supporting local charitable organizations. All proceeds from the event will support Kids In Crisis, ArtWorks, and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).
Entries will be open for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut residents ages 12-21 from October 20 through November 26. Originals and covers are welcome. This year’s event will take place at the Capitol Theatre on Sunday, December 3rd at 5:30PM, doors will open at 4:45PM for a pre-show with local DJ's the Vargas Brothers. VIP tickets are also available and include a pre-show reception and meet-and-greet with the judges and host from 3:30 – 5:00PM.
Judges include former American Idol judge and Grammy-nominated hit-maker, Kara DioGuardi, Head of A&R at Atlantic Records, Pete Ganbarg, and Leslie Stifelman, Music Director and Conductor of the award-winning Broadway hit musical, Chicago. Z100’s Maxwell will host the event.
Tri-State Rocks is presented by Inspired Nation, a non-profit that fosters young talent, builds community, and raises money and awareness for local youth-oriented charities.
