Pediatric Cancer Survivor Became A Nurse For The Hospital That Cured Her

Helen Little and Nina Del Rio sat down to talk with Brittany Guerrini, a pediatric cancer survivor and nurse at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone.

At just four years old, she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. As soon as she was diagnosed, Brittany shared, "I always knew I wanted to be a nurse and that I wanted to give back. I wanted to use my story to inspire others." She certainly has inspired us!

Brittany started a pediatric cancer survivor group at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital that meets monthly. She is currently working on getting her masters degree in nursing.
