Matthew Perry Once Gifted Lisa Kudrow An Iconic Piece Of The 'Friends' Set

While chatting with Jimmy Kimmel during a virtual interview for his talk show on Wednesday (May 27), Lisa Kudrow revealed she kept an iconic prop from the Friends set. Not only did Kudrow keep a piece of the set, she also shared that her co-star Matthew Perry is the one who nabbed it for her. So, what prop does Kudrow still have after all these years? The cookie jar form Monica and Rachel's apartment.

"We're shooting a scene, years before we were finished, and my line was, "Oh! I better get going," like, "Oh! I'm late, I better get going," Kudrow dished. Her character, Phoebe Buffay, was supposed to check the time as she spoke, but Kudrow didn't have a watch. "As the words were coming out, I went, 'Oh, good, there's a clock.' I gestured to that, and said, 'Oh! Look at the time. I gotta get going.' And during shooting, Matthew said, 'Did you look at the cookie jar and say look at the time?'"

When the show came to an end after 10 seasons, Perry gave her the cookie jar as a gift. "I think the first thing I asked was, 'This was so nice—did you get permission?' I mean, my car used to get searched every night when I left," Kudrow joked.

If all this talk about Friends has you itching to rewatch the beloved sitcom, it's finally available for streaming again after departing Netflix earlier this year. HBO Max launched earlier this week with all 10 seasons of Friends on the platform. If production is able to resume later this summer, the unscripted Friends reunion will also be available to stream on HBO Max at some point this year.
