If you've ever dreamed about seeing your face on an Oreo cookie, then this update is for you.
On Thursday (November 12), Oreo revealed an exciting new feature for their customers—OREOiD. For the first time ever, Oreo lovers can create their own custom cookies. Not only can you decide what kind of cookie and creme you'd like, you can even put your own photo on the cookie.
Oreo describes the OREOiD process in three simple steps: "STUF it, DIP it, DESIGN it, and PACK it!" Here's what that really means for anybody interested in designing their own Oreo cookie. On OREOiD, fans can design their cookies by selecting from 8 creme colors, dipping cookies in either milk or white fudge, choosing from 8 sprinkle colors, customizing with an image or text, and selecting the packaging. Fans also have the option to purchase cookies without a design and simply stuff their cookies with the creme color of their choice.
“The OREOiD platform provides the opportunity to combine the playfulness of our cookie and the imagination of our fans,” Olympia Portale, OREO Brand Manager, said in a press release. “We’re so excited to unveil this new customized experience for our fans to engage with OREO on a whole new level, just in time for the gift-giving season!”
