LeBron James High School Jersey Could Reach Up To $300K In Auction

Back in 2002, the world was introduced to a 17-year old basketball phenom from St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, Home of the Irish! The high school junior, LeBron James made the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine rocking his high school jersey. We all know LBJ now, as arguably being one of the greatest basketball players of all time and now, 17-years later, LeBron James is worth over $450-million dollars! That's some big money!!

Speaking of big money, LBJ's high school jersey he wore for the cover of "Sports Illustrated" is expected to go for top dollar at an auction according to TMZ Sports.

According to TMZ:

"Now, the jersey James donned on the cover (he also wore the jersey for the majority of his junior season where he averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists a game) is on the block at Goldin Auctions.
Ken Goldin tells us he expects the jersey — which was given by LeBron to a long-time friend who held onto it ’til now — could sell for mid-six figures (think 300k, 400k, $500k+)."

Now the question arises, would you ever spend that kind of money on a jersey?!! That's a lot of tacos you could be getting for TAAAAACCCOOOOO TUUUUESDAAAAY!!!
