Michael Riedel and Christine Nagy spoke with actor/director Lee Roy Reams, during their Inside Broadway podcast, about the passing of Broadway legend Carol Channing.
Lee Roy Reams directed Channing in Hello Dolly! and recalls, "Carol Channing is the reason Hello Dolly! happened... Carol's entire life was around her career so it was very difficult because everything she did in her private life had to do with her career. She was a constant professional. A producer's dream! She did everything to keep the show going. Her whole life was about her career."
