Robert Grossman Reveals What Makes Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital Special

Robert Grossman, the chief executive officer of NYU Langone Health and dean of NYU School of Medicine talked with Rich Kaminski at our Hope For The Holidays Radiothon.

He discussed building Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital “There was a whole team of people, great people, who had the vision. And we executed, and we felt it was incredibly important for the children, their families and our institution. And it’s fantastic, it’s beautiful, Hassenfeld is an incredible institution.

He also mentioned the importance of donating to the hospital. "Philanthropy is about doing something for somebody else. And, your donations really do make a difference for all the individuals who need the great services of a children’s hospital. What makes it great is it has beautiful facilities. But facilities alone aren’t enough. It’s the people, the physicians, the surgeons and the nurses. Everyone who takes care of those children make a difference. So your support is vital to that mission."
